Gillian Riesen is a photographer based out of Buffalo, NY that specializes in natural and honest images. She began her career as a high-demand portrait photographer for artists and musicians and continues to travel to the country's largest cities and performing venues to capture this work. Clients include artists that have performed and worked in the world's leading opera houses and concert halls including The Metropolitan Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, English National Opera, Staatstheater Stuttgart, Santa Fe Opera, Theater an der Wien, Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Seattle Opera, Opera Australia and more.
With a strong background and intense training in the performing arts, Gillian brings a unique sense of drama and honesty to her photography, endeavoring to highlight what makes each person unique. This creative vision is strengthened by a six-year background in website design and with these skills combined, each clients receives a wide range of beautiful, unique and usable portraits.
